Emma Channing - CEO & General Counsel, The Satis Group
Emma Channing is the Founder, CEO and General Counsel of the Satis Group. Emma operates primarily as client’s legal liaison to help clients think through selecting and engaging legal and tax counsel, to coordinate the provision of advice by outside counsel and ensure that the legal and tax conclusions of outside counsel are uniformly applied across all elements of the process. She previously served as General Counsel of Argon Group and has held several in-house counsel and strategy roles in innovative companies prior to entering the world of cryptocurrency and security tokens. Emma began her career in major international firms including Skadden and Simpson Thacher, focusing on international M&A and capital markets with a total of 20 years of experience. Emma is admitted in the UK, CA, CO and NY and holds an LLB in Law from Durham Law School (UK), and LLMs in Law from Durham Law School and Stanford Law School.
